We rallied around the course chasing the VW rally cars to each checkpoint, lming at multiple locations – capturing the frozen moments with a 36 Gopro H3+ Array – all rolling at 2.7k. Given that the race cars pass at over 200 km/hr, I used the EasyRig 2.5 to follow the action, adding motion to make the impossible shot even more impossible – and you only get one take! In the edit we used Twixtor and After Effects to extend the duration of the moment and enhance the bullet-time effect.
